A Non-Comic Post!
Hi there everybody! By 'everybody', I mean all four of my current readers.
I've decided to do a 'news' post of a type, because I've actually realised that a few people actually do read this thing on the blog, and it's mercifully short of details on what I'm up to.
Firstly, the awesome people at Bridging the Rift mentioned the comic on their podcast, and that was kinds of cool (and very surreal to me). They gave it a pretty indepth discussion and seemed to like it a lot, which is great to hear. Although odd to me, given that I've never taken this comic that seriously, given how few people read it, to hear it discussed in comparison to some of my favourite web comics and things ever. They also nailed many of my inspirations which was fun to see. A few people had never picked up on before as far as I know! So go check them out at http://bridgingtherift.wordpress.com/2009/10/10/bridging-the-rift-11-guilty-pleasures/ if you haven't already.
Secondly, I've discovered something kind of odd. I can't comment on my own blog. I don't know why. Maybe there's a glitch in my browser or something. That means that the odd comment that's been cropping up places (which I do hugely apppreciate!) I can't reply to. Which sucks. If you do want to contact me and get a reply, since I can't reply on my own blog (which is incredibly stupid), please don't hesitate to e-mail me at my_name_was_taken AT hotmail DOT com and I'll be all too happy to reply!
Part of the reason this blog looks so horrible is because of my complete lack of technical skills, and the reason I mention this is that this blog is more used as an archive for the comics than a place to store them from scratch. This forum thread: http://gallifreybase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14249&page=2 (when Gallifreybase is working) is where I post all the comics as they're made, and you get my comments on each one and everybody's reactions. The reason I mention it is if you have read up until this point and want to carry on reading (which I very much hope you do!) the forum thread is also a good place to go for them because I post various extras outside of the comic's main storyline too there which I keep out of the main 'archive', as they don't really fit in.
I thought I'd mention that in case anybody wanted to check it out!
Finally, thanks to everybody who's reading. I had no idea anybody really was, so that's fantastic. So thank you, and I'm going to try and get the updates running a little steadier, given I know how rocky they've been lately. So stay tuned and thanks for reading!
